"Paradisia" is a song by Björk from her tenth studio album, Utopia.
Background[]
The song is a transitional interlude comprised solely of flutes and bird sounds. Those birdsongs are samples from the Jean C. Roché track “Gran Sabana” from his 1973 album Oiseaux du (Birds of) Vénézuéla.[1] Birds featured on this sample are the crested oropendola and the screaming piha, both birds from South America.[2]
